Feral Cats vs Rescue Cats (please read!)
HCMT treats both feral cats and rescue cats.
A FERAL is a cat that will be returned to the outdoor location where it was trapped after surgery.
A RESCUE is a cat that either has been or will be adopted as a pet after surgery.
ONLY FERAL cats are eligible for No-Charge clinics.
Both feral and rescue cats can be treated at Fast Track Clinics.

CLINIC DAY
Please bring your cat to the clinic in a humane trap if it is a feral cat.
Please have only ONE cat per trap. We cannot accept feral cats in carriers or homemade traps.
Please bring your cat to the clinic in a cat-sized carrier if it is a rescue cat.
When you arrive at the clinic you will fill out forms and we will admit your cat.
PLEASE NOTE - NEW forms at the clinic starting on SUNDAY, JUNE 26.
GREEN forms are for RESCUE Cats (NO EAR TIP AND YOU ARE PAYING)
PURPLE forms for FERALS ( $30 and EAR TIP)
Cats go into surgery in the order they are admitted to the clinic.
We will call you when your cat is ready to be picked up after surgery.
You must be available at the phone number you give us, while we have your cat.
If there is a concern about your cat or it needs medication, we will call you.
Payment for surgery, vaccines, medications or other treatments is required when you pick up your cat.
We do not have space in the clinic for you to wait for your cat, however, there are local restaurants and shops where you can wait if you choose. It usually takes between 4 and 5 hours for your cat to be ready to go home.
