Kazmarski With the support of PennyFix, Inc, over the summer of 2020, HCMT was able to provide sterilization procedures, rabies shots, flea treatment, ear mite treatment and FVRCP vaccinations to 50 cats! One HCMT volunteer benefiting from the PennyFix supported sterilization clinic is working on a TNR project at a local trailer park. She first became aware of the trailer park’s need for help when a young cat was found with a fishing hook embedded through his eyelid. After multiple attempts, he was successfully trapped. While trying to trap this little one, the HCMT volunteer on site engaged with many residents who desperately asked for help. Overall, there are around 50 cats at this site that HCMT will work to sterilize. With support from PennyFix, HCMT was able to get a jump start on this site and sterilize six cats. Additional projects benefiting from PennyFix’s support include TNR on a local farm and numerous urban communities!
