Shelters made from styrofoam coolers WANTED!
Used/new large styrofoam coolers or any other cooler or large rubbermaid containers to be used for housing for homeless outside cats.
Dog Igloos or houses also welcome!
Homeless Cat Management will be having a Shelter Building party in December. Help us to keep these cats a little warmer this winter. Please visit our Facebook page if you have any of the above that you could donate.
At left, these shelters are the design of a Homeless Cat Management Team volunteer. They are made from styrofoam coolers with an extra layer of styrofoam on the outside or inside if they are too thin. An entry hole is cut in one end above the ground.
They are then wrapped in heavy duty trash bags which are taped in place. They'll be filled with straw for
